DAY-CARE ROOM WORKING HOURS: 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. 
 

The day-care room is one of the most popular forms of taking care of a child. The main objective of the day-care room is providing children with the guidance and care after school classes, development of their interests, talents and skills.
         This facility is an integral and irreplaceable part of school's upbringing, which is to accomplish not only tutelary but also educational tasks.
         These are mainly the following:

The development of interests, talents and skills;
Providing proper social and moral patterns;
Organizing cultural life;
Providing tutelary service

ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE SCHOOL PREVENTION PROGRAM OBJECTIVES DURING THE DAY CARE ROOM CLASSES

1. School monitoring to prevent situations when teenagers could have a contact with drugs:
     - Increased teachers' duties- day-care room tutors' duties during breaks and during regular classes.
2. Informing parents and students about the harmful effects of the usage of intoxicating substances, which is closely connected with the danger for health and safety and may lead to addiction:
     - Presenting, during the day-care room classes, different topics concerned mainly with addiction prevention using various techniques and methods of group work (discussion, talk, brainstorming, psychodrama, lecture); 
     - Individual talks with students and their parents about harmful effects of drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes and taking drugs.
3. Introducing topics, which help students discover their own value, make right decisions, be assertive, cope with stress, aggression and everyday temptations, follow patterns and role-models to become a valuable and mature man.
