Gimnazjum nr 2 im Stanisława Szymańskiego w Zawierciu

Handball players from Middle School No. 2 in Zawiercie ranked on the podium in the Girls Jurassic Handball League in the 2015/2016 season. In the last match players from "Szymanski" defeated the team from Szczekociny 14: 3 and finished the series of meetings on the third place. The most effective competitor turned out to be our student Victoria Lendor throwing 52 goals.The best team was the team from Lelów. The second place took the middle school from Kroczyce while the fourth place went to the middle school of Szczekociny. The honorary patronage over the event took the village mayor of Lelów Krzysztof Molenda. He congratulated the players success and fighting spirit, and the organizers the idea to promote this sport in our county. He expressed hope that next season's competition will attract an even greater number of teams.
