Gimnazjum nr 2 im Stanisława Szymańskiego w Zawierciu

        On 10th June, 2016  the next edition of Anglo-Saxon poetry contest took place at Szymanski’s Junior High School. The participants prepared previously chosen fragments of poetry and presented them in front of the jury. Mr Grzegorz Florczyk, the headmaster, welcomed the students and wished them good luck. The level of the competition was really high and impressive. The students were given diplomas and all of them were awarded prize and book gifts and consolation prizes funded by the headmaster and mmpublications and EGIS publishers. The winners were as follow:
1st place  – Julia Kręgiel  class IIB
2nd place – Julia Bugajska class III B
3rd place  – Jakub Kmita class III B
 Distinctions went to: Magdalena Cocek, Oliwia Mach and Natalia Guzek
 The competition was organized by teachers:
 Malgorzata Radzka-Cwiklinska (MA) and Malgorzata Dychus(MA)
