On 23rd March 2016 all students of "Szymański" began to prepare for the April tasks related to prevention. Each class drew a separate topic, in which pupils’ task was to prepare a poster, a preventive scene, a poem and a multimedia presentation. On April 26th selected students joined the competition covering all topics. On April 29th the jury selected winners on the basis of points from each competition discipline: first place-class IIa, second place-class IIIc and third place class IIId. The award ceremony was held in the gym on 3rd June.
