Gimnazjum nr 2 im Stanisława Szymańskiego w Zawierciu

Within the framework of the 25x25 Project  a European newspaper "Together forever" , which contains two articles concerning neighborly relations, was founded. The first one is entitled "Stereotypes and prejudices or friendship and cooperation ...?". The aim of the article is to examine the current Polish - German relationship, based on the opinion of the school community of the Junior High School  No. 2 in Zawiercie in the number of 243 students. A few chosen students carried out a survey, in which the students from our school were asked to express their opinion on the present Polish-German relations. Another publication was an article under the title "The history of Polish - German relations”  in which Polish and German editors interviewed MA Margaret Bomba the  teacher of History in our school. On the basis of the survey they analyzed  the development of  the history of Polish - German relations form Mieszko I  till modern times. The treaty on good neighborhood  from 1991 introduced a new positive track into neighborly relations between our countries. We strongly encourage all high school students to read these articles.
